NIMGenetics
NIMGenetics is an analytic Diagnostics Centre with Genetic unit authorized by the Community of Madrid’s Health Department. Our scientific-medical team, accredited professionally and scientifically by the Spanish Association of Human Genetics, is specialized in the development and application of high-resolution genomic systems that enable a reliable and precise clinical diagnosis.

NIMGenetics is located in Madrid’s Scientific Park, in turn located within Madrid’s Technological Park in Tres Cantos (PTM).

OBJECTIVES
Our main goals are:

To ease, in an efficient way, medical professionals´ access to the latest scientific advances in genomic tools such as Array-CGH for the improvement of health care at all stages, prevention, prognostic characterization and diagnostic reliability.

To offer researchers and research services, in addition to an extensive range of genomic tools, a personalized customer service that goes from the design and selection of the most appropriate platform, up to a complete biocomputer analysis.

HISTORY
NIMGenetics was established in 2007 by researchers from varied backgrounds in National Research Centres, with more than 15 years experience in the fields of genetic diagnosis and research.

From 2008, NIMGenetics is a company participated by the CDTI, a fact that has boosted its capacity for innovation. During the last few years there has been a development and validation of different platforms of genomic analysis with clinical applications.  Genomic tools, such as KaryoNIM®, allow the identification of alterations in the number of DNA copies with phenotypical repercussions.

In 2009, NIMGenetics was accredited by the Community of Madrid’s Health Department as an ANALITICAL DIAGNOSTICS CENTRE WITH GENETIC UNIT. Currently, more than 50 diagnostic centres, clinics and hospitals use our services.
