COMPARATIVE GENOMIC HYBRIDISATION ARRAYS (CGH-arrays)
ARE THE TOOL OF CHOICE FOR OBTAINING THE MOLECULAR KARYOTYPE
Comparative Genomic Hybridization on microarrays (also known as CGH-array or array-CGH) is a genomic and very potente technique used to identify,in one unique hybridisation, variations in the number of copies in the genome (deletions, amplifications, trisomies, etc.). The bioinformatic analyses of the data from the Array-CGH result in the production of the Molecular Karyotype of the sample.
The scientific team of NIMGenetics has designed a wide catalogue of microarrays that have been optimized for their use in genetic and molecular diagnostic clinical procedures: prenatal and postnatal diagnosis, tumour markers, familial cancer, etc. All our designed arrays have been validated in several laboratories, they avoid genetic polymorphisms and they are focussed on genomic reagents associated with known syndromes and pathologies.
