Hereditary cancer

Home » Services » Hereditary breast/ovarian cancer

It is estimated that around 5% of all tumours are hereditary. Identifying families with hereditary cancer allows effective early detection and tumour prevention measures to be established. Likewise, identifying the genetic origin of a tumour allows us to select the most appropriate treatment and clinical management.
